I’m too heavy!

At the end of May 2018 after a hernia surgery I was on an obesity ward.
Some patients there offered a frightening picture.

This finally made it clear to me that it was time to lose weight.

Around the year 2000 I reached my peak weight of 134 kilograms.
At that time my wife said to me: If the suit size 62 is not enough any more, we sew you something beautiful from a two – man – tent!
After that, my weight was reduced to 112 kilograms by food combining.

I am now 70 years old. Therefore it is my goal that the last column says "normal weight"!

For my own motivation I will update this entry monthly.
Maybe I can convince other people to lose weight with it.

For several years I have had high blood pressure, which can be well controlled by taking antihypertensive drugs every day.
Nevertheless, I would like to achieve that the dose of these drugs can be reduced, or in the best case, is no longer needed.
As you can see in the following table, the blood pressure decreases together with the weight!
A good development that gives me hope!
