Even the journey to the island of Baltrum was an experience in itself!

A trip to Baltrum begins with a drive to Neßmersiel. From there, a Baltrum Line ferry takes you to the island.
The journey times depend on the tide, low tide and high tide determine the time and duration of the crossing.
But before that, important things have to be settled.
The suitcases are placed (by you!) in the containers provided, the car is driven to the car park and the key is handed in at the counter.
This is because the vehicles are driven by the staff to the parking areas located behind the dyke and brought back to the harbour parking area on the day of departure.
Then you should buy the appropriate tickets from the vending machine in the container.
You can also pay on the ferry, but it's easier that way!
